bring up the cheatbox by pressing ctrl shift c and then type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, If you are already are in a household, exit that hosehold and come back. this will let you bring up the needs of a sim by simply dragging up their needs bar. You can also do this with relashionships. If you press shift while clicking on a sim you can do a bunch of other stuff too, just make sure not to press force error.
