I’ve played a bunch of hidden object games but this one is a true stand out. The story is about a detective helping a mysterious author retrieve his scattered fantasy manuscripts. The visuals are stunningly beautiful. You step into pages of his different stories and try to fix them. Some of them are very amusing. Along the way are sprinkled quotes from the likes of Helen Keller!
You get plenty of hints and can get extra in scenes by searching for them. I didn’t ever use all of mine. The hint does have to recharge but you can make it recharge faster. The mini-games were not that hard just clever.
My main gripe is that it’s easy to get lost wandering around in the rooms and gardens. But, it’s not that big a deal. I never needed a walk through either.
This is a game you’ll want to savor and not rush through. It’s not a terribly long game. I got through it in probably 3 hours. It’s not timed by the way. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
