The cheat box on The Sims 2 Double Deluxe never shows up on Ctrl+Shift+C. Is there an alternate?

your computer might just be really slow check the system requierments

I’ve had this problem. Your computer probably is not slow.
ctrl-shift-C is a hot key.
Your computer might have a program that uses that hot key too.
Try it on your desktop without sims running.
It should come up. Then right click that programs icon and go to properties,shortcut, then you should see shortcut key with a box.
If it says ctrl-shift-C erase that!
Then you should be good.
Um, if the program doesn’t come up, ask what programs use ctrl-shift-C as a shortcut key on yahoo answers.
Thats what I had to do, someone had to tell me what program uses that.
